PHYSICAL SECURITY
- Access Control
- Access control systems are electronic and physical systems that facilitate automated approval for authorized personnel to enter through a security portal without the need for a security officer to review and validate the authorization of the person entering the portal, typically by using a credential to present to the system to enable access.
- Alarms
- A security alarm is a system designed to detect intrusion, such as unauthorized entry, into a building or other areas such as a home or school. Security alarms used in residential, commercial, industrial, and military properties protect against burglary (theft) or property damage, as well as personal protection against intruders.
- Security alerts in neighbourhoods show a connection with diminished robbery. Some alarm systems serve a single purpose of burglary protection; combination systems provide fire and intrusion protection. Intrusion-alarm systems are combined with closed-circuit television surveillance (CCTV) systems to record intruders’ activities and interface to access control systems for electrically locked doors. There are many types of security systems. Homeowners typically have small, self-contained noisemakers. These devices can also be complicated, multirole systems with computer monitoring and control. It may even include a two-way voice which allows communication between the panel and monitoring station.
- Anti-shoplifting Systems
- Our anti-shoplifting systems will effectively detect any stolen merchandise leaving a store if these items have been tagged. The technologies currently available, namely AM, RF EM and RFID, enabling us to provide the best solution for your store. Products of all shapes and sizes can be protected. This management tool also assists security as the task of detecting stolen goods is now simpler and more effective. Security will not need to search every customer leaving the store, only attend to potential shoplifters who have set the anti-shoplifting system off. Managers and owners can work peacefully knowing that the anti-shoplifting system is constantly monitoring stock leaving the store. Increased profits, minimised shrinkage, and a smaller order book will enable the business to operate more efficiently, helping stores focus more on customers rather than on theft.
- Armed Response
- Is a response by our specially trained and armed security officers to an emergency situation or alarm activation.
- CCTV
- CCTV surveillance can deter potential criminals. When a crime does occur, video footage can help law enforcement to investigate and later provide evidence for prosecution in court. Used in conjunction with CCTV, audio, thermal and other types of sensors can alert our control room to occurrences that are out of the ordinary, e.g. a fire or gun shots at a location. CCTV cameras can detect and monitor criminal activities. Security cameras are able to monitor areas that are not easily accessible, e.g. rooftops.
- Electric Fencing
- An electric fence is a barrier that uses electric shocks to deter animals and people from crossing a boundary. The voltage of the shock may have effects ranging from discomfort to more severe. Most electric fences are used today to protect security areas such as homes, offices, and industrial installations.
- Garage & Door Automation
- Automating a new or existing garage door can be less expensive than you think. Why struggle with heavy garage doors in the wind and rain when you could simply press a transmitter button from the comfort of your car? Our experienced technicians will solve the problem by fully automating your garage doors so that you never need to struggle again. Automated garage doors give you complete control over the access to your garage and is quick and easy without the worry of leaving the comfort of your car. Especially from a security perspective, the last thing you want to do is get out of your car where it could be risky. An automatic door/gate is the solution!
- Gates
- Over the years security gates are regarded as an essential thing to have in one’s house. It comes in various shapes and styles. The most standard is set in front of doorways. These use a latch that locks them firmly in place. If there is a staircase in your home than an individual must absolutely get a door gate. Even if your youngster only spends a few minutes there with you there is plenty of time for an individual to turn round and for them to fall down the stairs. With the crime rate going up, many neighbourhoods that were once safe havens are going downhill and the streets are downright unsafe at night. In these cases, the decision to install a safety gate is a wise one. With the wide variety of options available, it is becoming easier for homeowners to ensure their personal safety while not scrimping on the overall look and aesthetic of their estate.
- Intercoms
- An intercom system is an electronic device that enables two-way communication via audio/video transmission. – (“intercommunication device”) or interphone is a stand-alone voice communications system for use within a building or small collection of buildings, functioning independently of the public telephone network. Intercoms are generally mounted permanently in buildings and vehicles. Intercoms can incorporate connections to public address loudspeaker systems, walkie talkies, telephones, and to other intercom systems. Some intercom systems incorporate control of devices such as signal lights, gates and door latches.
- There are simple house intercoms and intercoms developed for collective apartments. Some are equipped with video, and its wiring (electrical installation), can be connected to the outside with few pairs (4-6 pairs) while controlling an electric strike. The latest generation are even compatible with computers and some models include TCP/IP.
- Locks & Safes
- A lock is a mechanical or electronic fastening device that is released by a physical object (such as a key, key card, fingerprint, RFID card, security token, coin, etc.), by supplying secret information (such as a number or letter permutation or password), or by a combination thereof or only being able to be opened from one side. A key is a device that is used to operate a lock (such as to lock or unlock it). A safe is usually a hollow cuboid or cylinder, with one face being removable or hinged to form a door. The body and door may be cast from metal (such as steel) or formed out of plastic through blow molding.
- A typical key is a small piece of metal consisting of two parts: the bit or blade, which slides into the keyway of the lock and distinguishes between different keys, and the bow, which is left protruding so that torque can be applied by the user. In its simplest implementation, a key operates one lock or set of locks that are keyed alike, a lock/key system where each similarly keyed lock requires the same, unique key. The key serves as a security token for access to the locked area; locks are meant to only allow persons having the correct key to open it and gain access. In more complex mechanical lock/key systems, two different keys, one of which is known as the master key, serve to open the lock. Common metals include brass, plated brass, nickel silver, and steel. A safe (also called a strongbox) is a secure lockable box used for securing valuable objects against theft and/or damage from fire. A safe is usually a hollow cuboid or cylinder, with one face being removable or hinged to form a door. The body and door may be cast from metal (such as steel) or formed out of plastic through blow molding. Bank teller safes typically are secured to the counter, have a slit opening for dropping valuables into the safe without opening it, and a time-delay combination lock to foil robbers/and or thieves. One significant distinction between types of safes is whether the safe is secured to a wall or structure or if it can be moved around. A less secure version (only suitable for petty cash) is usually called a cashbox.
- Maintenance Contracts
- Maintenance contracts are defined as the contract between two parties creating an agreement, which signifies one party will maintain an asset that another party owns. Maintenance contracts can be in place for several areas such as equipment, electric fencing, landscape, cleaning buildings and offices, and more
- Sensor & Beams (outdoor & indoor)
- Outdoor beams are weatherproof infrared detectors, like indoor passives, which will signal an early warning of an intruder on the property. If triggered, the pulsed infrared light will sound the alarm system and alert the control room and clients to a presence in their area.
- Spikes
- Physical barriers such as wall spikes act as the outermost layer of security. They serve to prevent, or at least delay, attacks, and also act as a psychological deterrent by defining the perimeter of the home or facility and making intrusions seem more difficult. Spikes are often emplaced on the perimeter, generally with signage that warns people not to attempt entry.
